  • Always read the product label carefully before giving a dose.
  • Use only the measuring device that comes with the product.
  • Call your pediatrician before giving acetaminophen to a child under 2 years old.
  • Do not use ibuprofen in babies under 6 months unless your pediatrician tells you to.
  • If your baby is under 3 months old and has a fever, call right away.
  • Never give adult medicine to children unless the chart specifically shows a dose.

Used for fever, headache, body aches, teething discomfort, and general pain relief. Do not give more than 5 doses in 24 hours unless your pediatrician tells you otherwise.

Ibuprofen

Used for fever, body aches, headaches, soreness, and inflammation-related discomfort. Do not use in babies under 6 months unless your pediatrician tells you to.
