Dr. Duane Dyson was born and raised in Southern California. He attended U.C. Berkeley, where he studied Molecular and Cell Biology with an emphasis in Cell and Developmental Biology.
He later earned his medical degree from Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia, where one of his classmates became his life partner, Dr. Senait Dyson.
After medical school, Dr. Dyson and his wife moved to Cleveland, Ohio. He trained in pediatrics at Children’s Hospital at MetroHealth, while Dr. Senait Dyson trained in dermatology at University Hospitals at Case Western.
After completing his residency, Dr. Dyson worked at Children’s Hospital at MetroHealth and at a rehabilitation facility. He later managed a large census of patients in the high risk nursery at Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston, Texas.

Dr. Dyson established Dyson Pediatrics in Tucson in 2009 with a mission to deliver exceptional medical care.
Dr. Dyson and his family later moved to Irvine, California, where he joined TLC Pediatrics in San Juan Capistrano. The transition to outpatient medicine was enjoyable and brought meaningful growth in both his pediatric practice and family life.
In January 2009, Dr. Dyson and his family moved to Tucson, Arizona. That same year, he established Dyson Pediatrics with the goal of delivering exceptional medical care to every family who entered the practice.
When Dr. Dyson established Dyson Pediatrics in 2009, his goal was to deliver exceptional medical care to all who entered his lobby. Today, that mission is unchanged.
The team has grown, but the desire to provide the same level of care remains at the heart of the practice.
Dr. Dyson and Dr. Senait Dyson have three children. Their daughter was born in Cleveland, their first son was born in Houston, and their youngest son was born in Tucson.
His journey as a husband, father, and pediatrician continues to shape the dependable, family focused care he brings to Dyson Pediatrics.
