Born and raised in Southern California, Dr. Duane Dyson attended U.C. Berkeley, where he earned a degree in Molecular and Cell Biology with an emphasis in Cell and Developmental Biology. He later earned his medical degree from Morehouse School of Medicine.
After medical school, Dr. Dyson moved to Cleveland, Ohio, where he completed his pediatric residency at MetroHealth and developed a strong affinity for newborn care while working in the NICU. His background also includes time in pediatric rehabilitation and managing a high-risk nursery in Houston, Texas.
Dr. Dyson’s experience caring for acute and chronic pediatric patients gave him a broad clinical foundation before moving into outpatient practice. After helping grow a small pediatric practice in San Juan Capistrano, California, he and his family relocated to Tucson in January 2009.
Today, Dr. Dyson is known for being hands-on, accessible, and deeply invested in the families he serves. He values the trust that parents place in their pediatrician and works to be a dependable resource for children and families throughout every stage of growth.
